I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and have called the Westside of Los Angeles home for over 15 years. My path to becoming a therapist began early, when I volunteered to serve meals to those in need. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to helping others.
I graduated from the University of Oregon, served two years in AmeriCorps, followed by another two years working for Child Welfare. Over a decade I worked in non-profits and hospitals, serving children and adults with life-threatening illnesses.
I earned my MSW from California State University, Northridge, completing extensive training in both grief and interpersonal partner violence. I earned my clinical hours in adolescent and adult treatment centers for mental health and substance abuse.
Having a private practice has been a dream of mine since my 20s when I entered therapy the first time. I hope mine offers the same judgement-free, caring and collaborative space that I found.
Outside of work, I feel most grounded when I’m with family and friends, being in nature, or spending time with our rescue cat and dogs.
I BELIEVE:
We all carry contradictions. It’s okay to have mixed feelings— life is complex.
Relationships are worth nurturing. With the right tools, we can communicate with more kindness and hear each other with more love.
You deserve the freedom to make your own choices—and to honor what’s right for you.
Bringing a balance of heart and humor to the therapy space helps clients find healing, resilience, and joy—one small moment at a time.
